ILE's Got Talent!

Wednesday's amazing talent show definitely proved that the ILE truly does have talent. The evening started out with an incredible operatic rendition of Justin Bieber's, Baby-by Dunners, Prunes, Sasha Fierce, and Zoe-inator. Sasha Fierce accompanied the vocalists with a tremendous tin whistle piece. It was excellent and completely unexpected. Next up on the stage was CMoney, Con Man, Evo, and ODawg. They translated the Irish National Anthem into Spanish with the help of Connor and were able to perform it superbly. The mime presentation from Jenny, Kel, Molly Fitz, Skoot, and Tom was brilliant. They definitely worked hard to prepare their skit for the ILE'ers and we were all impressed. ABomb, Fi, MC, and Sall-inator woo'ed us with a flawless dance routine of Miley Cyrus', Hoedown Throwdown. Sallie said she had a lot of fun rehearsing with the other girls. The staff was next up and gave the students a good laugh with their, If I Weren't on the ILE skit. After all of the groups had performed, it was open mic. We were dazzled by the gorgeous voices of Jenny and Sasha Fierce. Dan followed with Monto-made famous by the Dubliners, while Angie closed out the show with a wee traditional Irish song. The students enjoyed the 2011 ILE Talent Show and thought it was a great bonding experience. "Such a blast," said Kelly.
