ILE Sessiun-Music to Our Ears

On July 9th, 2011, we were lucky enough to have "Our Tom" (Angie's brother) come visit us with his band from Belfast. "Our Tom" plays the Bodhran and Bouzouki, "Our Paddy" plays the Uilleann Pipes, "Our Paul" and "Our Ryan" play the Banjo. It was a special night for us as the band treated us to a few jigs and reels and showed us and told us about the history of their instruments. The ILE even danced a few numbers, while the band accompanied them. We played a game of musical statues, before we watched a wonderful Irish dance routine from Kelly. The gorgeous angelic voices of Kelly, Molly Fitz, Prunes, and Sasha Fierce wow'ed us to a night's end. What an amazing evening.
