Participant and Parent Release

Itinerary:  We understand that location and activities evolve throughout the year and that itineraries may change.  In all cases, the Irish Life Experience will make every effort to substitute an activity or location with something comparable.

Program Admission:  We understand that the Irish Life Experience is a private organization that reserves the right to deny admissions to its program.  That right shall not be arbitrarily utilized or exercised contrary to law.  The Irish Life Experience strives to design a program for all participants.  However, the Irish Life Experience may be too difficult for people with certain types of physical/mental limitations.  Please check with your personal physician and the Irish Life Experience to see if the program is appropriate for your attendance.  As noted in prior disclosure, the Irish Life Experience retains the right to refuse admittance to its program.

Tuition Refunds and Trip Cancellation:  Due to the seasonal nature of the Irish Life Experience and the fact that the program costs are determined on a per-group basis, instead of a per-person basis, we understand that the Irish Life Experience is not required to provide any refund for late arrival, early withdrawal, or dismissal with cause.  If a participant withdraws for personal reasons or a medical emergency or injury anytime after April 1, 2022, we understand that refunds will be minimal and made at the sole discretion of the Irish Life Experience.

  • CANCELLATION BEFORE APRIL 1, 2022 ($100 IS RETAINED)
  • CANCELLATION AFTER APRIL 1, 2022 ($2,500 IS RETAINED)
  • CANCELLATION AFTER MAY 1, 2022 ($3,500 IS RETAINED)
  • CANCELLATION AFTER JUNE 1, 2022 ($5,650 IS RETAINED)

We understand that the Irish Life Experience reserves the right to cancel the program that does not enroll to a minimum level.  In such an occurrence, full tuition refunds will be offered, or priority of enrollment for the following summer’s program will be offered where space is available.  If the Irish Life Experience determines, for safety purposes, that it must cancel a program in Ireland due to political unrest, weather, medical outbreaks, etc., the Irish Life Experience will do its best to offer another program when available.  If such a comparable program is offered and refused by the enrolled, tuition, less the deposit, will be refunded.  The Irish Life Experience is not responsible for other costs incurred by participants preparing for an Irish Life Experience that has been canceled.

Rules and Regulations:  We understand that for the health, safety, and welfare of its staff and students, the Irish Life Experience requires that the rules and regulations it establishes be observed.  The Irish Life Experience reserves the right to dismiss any participant from the program that the staff believes in their discretion, is injurious to her/himself or others, presents a safety concern or medical risk, is disruptive, or otherwise conducts her/himself in a matter detrimental to the program.  We understand that we are responsible for any and all costs of early departure whether for medical reasons, early dismissal, or otherwise.  Violation of any of the following rules could result in a telephone call to parents, suspension from daily activities, and/or early dismissal from the program:

  • Unsafe behavior, which includes, but is not limited to:  Failure to wear seat belts and other safety equipment, self-mutilation, and/or body piercing and tattooing and hitchhiking.
